Software Technical Analyst F/A 18 Training Systems
Working with the staff at LaunchCode, I was able to secure an apprenticeship with Boeing. My first workload was involved in the Engineering Product LifeCycle of F/A18 training systems including contract, hardware, and software. I participated in cold starts, customer meetings, and internal tool development including developing and testing a persistent software database. for maintenance procedures using MDART.
In addition to using my coding and building skills, I was humbled to participate in presenting during CDRLs, PDRs, and Risk Management Meetings with the US Government, the Department of Defense (DOD), and NAVAIR. Through these relationships I was able to develop comfortability with using government-required contract formatting, requirement sources, and risk management tools on the program management side of the business.

Business Operations Specialist, US Government Services.
Working with a team in Business Operations, I was able to implement Agile working practices in solving the internal struggle of US Government services related to On Time Delivery Delinquencies. Through identifying unresolved paperwork, contract submission errors, and submitting proper resolution documents including DD250s, hundreds of millions of dollars were recovered by our team related to delivered items that were unpaid.
Through working with this team, I solely captured the backlog for this process improvement initiative and 21 other initiatives in the government services sector of Boeing Global services. By running training in Agile through lunch and learns, workshops, and creating online training pathways in Degreed, I worked to move the function of the Business Operations team from Waterfall to Agile. I also. completed a step-by-step 400-page Agile portfolio roll-out that could be repeated and scaled in any vertical at Boeing.

Project Management Specialist, (Agile Coach) Boeing Global Services Agile Center of Excellence.
Working with a team of 10 Agile professionals, we set the tone for Agile integration into the Boeing Global Services business unit. By working directly with the Program Management section of BGS, our team of embedded coaches train, develop, and trouble-shoot business practices that were once part of a waterfall workflow and integrated those activities into a new Agile structure.
My work focused on Business Operations and the sections of Government Services including Vertical Lift, F/A 18 training systems, and Government Training systems as a whole. Through developing training pathways and tool migrations plans in union with the employees in those programs/platforms, Agile has become a daily working practices for many of Boeing’s business units.

Leadership Roles at Boeing
Boeing LaunchCode Liaison
As a graduate of LaunchCode, I became a connection between LaunchCode Apprentices and the Boeing culture through mentoring new contractors working at Boeing through the LaunchCode Program. I developed customer on-boarding materials and communication items like a monthly newsletter and InSite page for communication between myself and the over 150 LaunchCoders at Boeing
Boeing REACH
REACH is a new hire organization for Boeing employees in years 1-5 of their time at Boeing. Through sponsoring networking events, community service, and professional development activities, REACH helps Boeing employees feel more connected. I have served on the Networking committee for reach in 2021, REACH Communication lead in 2022, and REACH Dragon Boat team captain from 2020-present.
Boeing Employee Pride Association
As a member of the LGBTQIA community, I became immediately connected with the Boeing Employee Pride Association. Through sponsoring networking happy hours, attending event planning meetings, and keeping new employees apprised of BEPA activities I earned a spot on the BEPA StL Leadership group, helping organize the group in 2023.
