Granite City Historic Architecture Review Committee.

Jennifer was appointed a member of the Granite City Historic Architecture Review Committee (HARC) board by Mayor Ed Hagnauer. The committee reviews business licenses, modifications to building structures, and demolition requests in the area.

For a number of years Jennifer served as an active member of the HARC board for Granite City. During that time she was responsible for a number of votes coming into review, including the modification of the exteriors of Aellio’s Pizzeria, The Book Shop, Daylight Donuts, and her own business, Art Park Ost and Gallery 1410. She also assisted with blocking movements from petitioners who were looking to negatively impact some of the storefront spaces in the downtown Niedringhaus area. Through many years of sitting on the board, Jennifer shared her knowledge of architecture and historic restoration with the board and the community.
