Art is not just a statement, it is a movement.
It all begins with an idea. In 2008, Jennifer opened Art Park Ost and Gallery 1410 as part of a blooming arts district in Granite City, IL. She wrote a grant and was gifted two commercial building to develop an art gallery with classroom spaces, studios, and an artist-in-residency program.

For the first time in many years, the downtown area of Granite City became a center for art and commerce thanks to Mayor Hagnauer and the establishment of the Granite City Arts and Entertainment District. Headed by Brenda Whitaker, the main section of Niedringhaus Ave that runs perpendicular to Granite’s city hall was revived with new businesses and art.
